Member Assembly
November 25, 2025 Members Only!
The annual member assembly on November 25, 2025, from 2-6 p.m. is our main event. As a platform, we come together to look back on the past year and ahead to what is yet to come. Our member assembly includes 1-2 expert inputs, plenty of time and space to connect and exchange ideas, including an aperitif.
This year we will receive two inputs:
- Lukas Fehr from the Swiss Carbon Removal Platform and the Risk Dialogue Foundation:
"A National Research Program for Carbon Dioxide Removal - Insights from CDRterra
The presentation introduces CDRterra, Germany's national research program on land-based CDR. It outlines how over 100 researchers across ten interdisciplinary consortia work together to assess the technical, ecological, economic, and societal feasibility of CDR options for Germany. The input shares insights from CDRterra's integrated approach that connects science, policy, and public dialogue.
- Louis Uzor from Carbon Gap: "From Targets to Action - an Overview of European CDR Policy"
CDR has managed to capture the ears of policymakers and is firmly on the table in terms of long-term targets and strategies. This input will discuss how long-term targets translate towards the political day-to-day aspects and the challenges as well as opportunities faced in implementing CDR policy in the near term. We will discuss quantification (CRCF), procurement, and the next policy barrier with international CDR implementation via Article 6.
