CDR Swiss Apéro and Policy Working Group meeting at EBP

On March 10th we had an Apéro for the generously hosted by our member EBP Schweiz.
Before the Apéro, the Working Group Policy met to discuss the latest policy updates and upcoming tasks, including the new Federal Act on Unfair Competition (UCA) from Federal Office for the Environment FOEN, the current consultation on the Klimaschutz-Verordnung and the upcoming revision of the CO₂ law. Additionally Regina Betz presented new results from the DeCIRRA project on the acceptance of transport of CO2.
It’s motivating to see so many dedicated people working together to shape the future of CDR policy and ensure Switzerland remains at the forefront of climate action.
The Apéro itself was a fantastic opportunity for members to network, exchange insights, and strengthen collaborations. Our new members NextGen CDR, Tivano and NatureRe Capital AG also took the opportunity to introduce themselves.
A big thank you to EBP Schweiz for hosting us, to everyone who contributed to the Working Group discussions, and to all the participants who made the evening full of interesting conversations.
We’re already looking forward to continuing the dialogue and working together to accelerate CDR solutions in Switzerland and beyond!
